Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & No Refund Policy

Tutor Coach America provides time based educational services that require advance scheduling and reserved time slots. When a session is booked, that time is exclusively held and unavailable to other students. For this reason, the following policy applies to all individual sessions and tutoring packages.

By purchasing or booking any service, you acknowledge and agree to this policy in full.

1. All Sales Final – No Refund Policy

All payments for tutoring services are final.

Tutor Coach America does not provide refunds for:

  • Purchased single sessions

  • Multi session packages

  • Unused sessions

  • Missed sessions

  • Late cancellations

  • Scheduling conflicts

Because tutoring services involve the reservation of time, once payment is made, services are considered non refundable, except where required by applicable law.

2. Monthly Cancellation Allowance

Students are permitted up to three cancellations per calendar month without forfeiting the session, provided the cancellation meets the notice requirement below.

To qualify as an allowable cancellation:

  • Written notice must be provided at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session time.

  • Notice must be submitted via email or the official booking system.

Cancellations exceeding three in the same calendar month will result in the additional cancelled session(s) being forfeited without refund or credit.

3. Late Cancellations and No Shows

A cancellation made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session is considered a late cancellation.

Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice is considered a no show.

Late cancellations and no shows:

  • Result in automatic forfeiture of the session

  • Are not eligible for refund or rescheduling

  • Count toward the three monthly cancellation limit

4. Single Session Purchases

For individually purchased sessions:

  • The three cancellation per calendar month rule applies.

  • Sessions cancelled within policy guidelines may be rescheduled within the same calendar month, subject to availability.

  • Sessions not rescheduled within the same calendar month expire without refund.

5. Multi Session Packages

For tutoring packages:

  • Packages must be used within the validity period stated at purchase.

  • The three cancellation per calendar month limit applies.

  • Sessions cancelled beyond the permitted monthly allowance are forfeited.

  • Unused sessions at the end of the package period expire and are not refundable.

  • Sessions are non transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling is permitted only when cancellation notice is provided at least 24 hours in advance and within the three cancellation allowance.

Rescheduled sessions must occur within the same calendar month unless otherwise approved in writing.

All rescheduling is subject to tutor availability.

7. Emergency Considerations

Tutor Coach America may, at its sole discretion, consider exceptions in cases of documented medical emergencies or extraordinary circumstances.

Approval of an exception does not modify or waive this policy for future sessions.

8. Tutor Initiated Cancellations

If Tutor Coach America cancels a session due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstance, the session will be rescheduled at no penalty to the student.

9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

By purchasing services, clients agree not to initiate chargebacks for sessions scheduled or delivered in accordance with this policy.

Any billing disputes must first be submitted in writing to Tutor Coach America for review and resolution.

10. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Tutor Coach America operates.
